Burls are small, round outgrowths found on the side of trees, but sometimes can run through the center of trees as well. They have very curly grain not usually found in the normal part of the tree. Displaying cherry burls in the doors shows off the pleasing color range. The live edges mix well with the flow of the smokey grey resin that is worked in the doors, the shelf, and throughout the cabinet. The underlit shelves add just one more detail that’ll keep guests talking about this work of art.
